Scaling the heights of the ladder, it was a joy to paint the view from the moon. Inspired by a Valentino design, twinkling stars catch the light upon the
dresses of the threadesses. With bronze planets at hand, the Saturn-like rings coil around the bags. The cosmos in reach.
A dark, inky sky allows the constellations to be seen in full force. In the beadtrove, circular diamonds are reminiscent of celestial bodies shining in the
distance. A highlight of painting a piece, is choosing the embellishment which adorns a design; adding a different facet.
With a subdued and cooler colour palette, these grey frames were chosen to harmonize with the art. The miniature canvases sit perfectly in the
atelier, adding a cosmic feel. Silver shards of glitter have a bigger impact, acting as subtle glimmering brushstrokes.
Shades of blue and grey are offset with metallics in creating the other-worldly art, where the stars are always shining. As the temperature increases,
