A good bow tie added a special touch to a suit in the tailors atelier. I delved into the fabric trove to find this velvet beauty, with a golden ribbon
feature. Bow on bow has to be considered a lucky charm, right? With a blank canvas at hand, I could foresee glamorous surroundings....
Draping black swathes and shimmering gold adorn the threadess. Velvet does call for a touch of opulence! The versatility of a bow is perfect tied at
the waist; or in miniature form, as a bodice. Cinching a section of tweed in the middle, the gently expanding shape fans at the end.
I love the tactility of tweed, and how varying threads entwine to create one fabric. Shades of brown and cream blend with the pretty mint shade;
complementing the gift box in hand. It's been a productive day of retail therapy for this threadess!
